- Recaps from TWOP - Start here if you missed the first season (still worth a read even if you've seen them all!)
- Mars Investigations - A site geared towards those who are unfamiliar with the series
- Rob Thomas Online - No, not the singer. Rob Thomas is the creater and producer of the series and a very cool guy (he also writes books). His site has a lot of good stuff like detailed information on the music used in the series, along with some fun downloads and links to fansites.

- Online Etymology Dictionary - explains where our words came from
- Take Our Word for It - another word-origin site
- Phrase Finder - find out the origins and meanings of our craziest idioms and phrases
- Dialect Survey - a survey designed to map the various dialects of the U.S. (in case you were wondering where to order a pop rather than a soda)
- The Dialectizer - translate other web pages into Redneck, Jive, Cockney, Elmer Fudd, Swedish Chef, Moron, Pig Latin, or Hacker (hours of fun!)
- Chatspeak Translator - OMGWTFBBQ! Figure out what those crazy abbreviations stand for
